Gala opening at the Sudbury Theatre Centre – for the Joyce exhibit, Ambassador of Ireland, Mayor proclamation, all 3 anniversaries – Ulysses reading by Dr. Hoi Cheu – expert in Joyce at Laurentian U., music and dancing, honouring of local Irish people who have made a difference (given a framed copy of the 1916 Proclamation).
